MY FATHER HABIT

This blog I will tell about the habit of my father when he has to decide to buy something. He has different habits with different channels which he brought. 

He loves to shop a lot of products via the internet and at the same time he wants to get after-sales service in high level because he told me that buying the product from the internet we cannot see the product before that why we want high standard of after-sales service. On the other hand, if he buy the product by himself at department store. He wanted only compare the price of product from other department store to check we can buy this product at the lowest price. He did not care much about after-sales service in this channel because he can see the product before decided to buy it.

If the shop know his habit, they probably can sell more products by providing him with the right promotion for him. For example, online shop should provide more special after-sales service or department store give him with extra discount. I'm very confident that he will buy the product for sure.

My first mobile phone that I use is Nokia 5230. My father brought me on grade 10 as my birthday gift. I use it until grade 11, the function of it is very simple and easy to use because at that time social media is not necessary thing in mobile phone. When I do not want to use it anymore because in year 12 the smartphone is popular so I want to change to use smartphone. The way for my Nokia 5230 is I gave it to my sister and she can use it when she was at the tutor to call our parents in emergency case.

The second one is Blackberry smartphone. I started use it in year 12 because it was very popular at that time. It is convenient to text with my friends in BBM program and the other thing that many people who using Blackberry always do is changing the body of the phone into others color like. the reason is to protect the real body that very expensive and it is a fashion. After I drop it to the floor , so I have to buy my new smartphone because the maintenance cost is very high and Blackberry is not up to date anymore. People change to use Line as a normal instant messaging. These are 2 reasons that why I stop using Blackberry.

My latest  smartphone and I still using it ie Samsung Galaxy Note3 4G+LTE in white color. I brought it at MBK center because I do not want to wait for buy it at Samsung Thailand and the price of it without other accessory around 19,000 baht that cheaper than in Samsung shop when it imported. I choosing this smartphone because I have used iPod touch at the same time with Blackberry and I do not like the way that the ios software work. Another reason, I like the S-pen that come with Note3 and it can use effectively and provide many functions that I prefer. And I used it around 2 years it works completely, if I have to change my smartphone Samsung always first come in my mind.

I understand about green computing which is the way to help the earth far away from the green house effect by reduce using the pollutant and use less material to produce the digital machine or other machine.

My routine that related with green computing are use effective energy every times. For example, I do not use the remote to switch off the television but I always put the button on the machine to switch off it. I learned this habit from my mom because she think if we do not switch off by the button we have to pay more for the electricity bill. I think this is a good habit that I will continue do it even it does not help me by decrease the amount of electricity bill but it help us to save energy for the next generation.

My other behaviour is reading from electronics file. I prefer to read electronics book or E-book than the real one because it comfortable to carry on and now we use less time for charging the device that I used to read the E-book. Because of the weight and the size of the real book that are the big problem why I read less. Nowadays, I can bring as much as possible books that I want to carry on. This way make me joy with my reading time everywhere.

From the class on September 11, 2015. We have to present in any topic that related with the ERP system. I choose topic about Supply Chain Benefits of an ERP System. 

I summarized all the important of my topic here. There are 5 main benefits of ERP system to supply chain

1. Enterprise-wide Visibility : information used to optimizes inventory level.
2. Automated purchasing : ERP software use to place order automatically.
3. Vendor performance : information about vendor performance evaluation to make negotiate with vendor or to switching to other vendors.
4. Exposure of Fraud and Malfeasence : to protect the corruption within the organization.
5. Economies of scale : know exactly how much, when, or what should invest

Finally, I want to tell about my feeling while I was presenting I was very nervous and exciting. I do my best to share the knowledge about my topic to all of my classmates and make you get some benefit from my presentation.

My IT plan B always happen in case of when I cannot connect with the internet and lack of ink in my printer.

For the first case, when I cannot connect to the internet. It always happen when I must connect for sending my assignments or some progressive group work to my friends. There are 2 ways I use to solve this problem. First, I go to my cousin home where near with my home to share some wifi to connect the internet to send my work. Second, if it has another problem with the internet at my cousin home I will share the wifi from hotspot from my smartphone but this way is not much effective because of low speed of the internet.

For the second case, the situation about lack of ink in printer. I have only one way to solve this problem. It is sending my printing files to print shop where near with the university via email. In the morning I will receive the documents before go to university. It is very convenient if I do not wake up late because printers at the print shop are high quality printers that provide the best quality of printing the document. It makes me work more professional.

I always manage my digital assets by separate the type of them. The most digital assets is document files because I always save the document file in every subjects since I studied here. 

First of all, they were files in my thumb drive. This collects all my files that I usually reopen. All of them are files of the subjects that I was enroll in that semester. I always keep this thumb drive together all the time to make sure that I can do anything with these files anytime. But I also back up all my files in the thumb drive in cloud service too.

Moreover, I will tell about my cloud service. I use Google drive to be my cloud storage because I always use Google account and that easy to manage my digital assets. Google drive is comfortable because it also available in mobile apps that can response me in everywhere. This is my storage for all the document that I have, it is very easy to manage into the folder and to find it again by searching it in the search box.

My Most Memorable (digital) Experience.

I have many memorable experiences about digital but the story that I would like to share is about my first personal computer or PC. I got the first PC from my father when I was 10, he brought it for me because I got the certificate to announce that I get the highest score from the examination. At that time, this PC was the first PC of my house that can make many people excited about it.

This nearly look like my PC at that time, I am very exciting about it after school or on weekend, I always sit in front of it and try to use many program. The first  program that I have to use was Microsoft Word because I learned it from school. I did not want to do anything that make me far away from my PC this was a cause that my mother always repine on me. 

These was two things that I always play on my PC and trying to make better score or record to compete with my cousins and my friends at school. Even these two games were very simple and easy but at that time is was the funniest game in the world and it always be one of my most memorable experiences.
