How does myself and my family manage our digital (intangible) assets?
I always manage my digital assets by separate the type of them. The most digital assets is document files because I always save the document file in every subjects since I studied here.
First of all, they were files in my thumb drive. This collects all my files that I usually reopen. All of them are files of the subjects that I was enroll in that semester. I always keep this thumb drive together all the time to make sure that I can do anything with these files anytime. But I also back up all my files in the thumb drive in cloud service too.
Moreover, I will tell about my cloud service. I use Google drive to be my cloud storage because I always use Google account and that easy to manage my digital assets. Google drive is comfortable because it also available in mobile apps that can response me in everywhere. This is my storage for all the document that I have, it is very easy to manage into the folder and to find it again by searching it in the search box.
I have many memorable experiences about digital but the story that I would like to share is about my first personal computer or PC. I got the first PC from my father when I was 10, he brought it for me because I got the certificate to announce that I get the highest score from the examination. At that time, this PC was the first PC of my house that can make many people excited about it.
This nearly look like my PC at that time, I am very exciting about it after school or on weekend, I always sit in front of it and try to use many program. The first program that I have to use was Microsoft Word because I learned it from school. I did not want to do anything that make me far away from my PC this was a cause that my mother always repine on me.
These was two things that I always play on my PC and trying to make better score or record to compete with my cousins and my friends at school. Even these two games were very simple and easy but at that time is was the funniest game in the world and it always be one of my most memorable experiences.
My mother just stay at home as a housekeeper, she just has to take home comfortable for our family and cooking the food for us. Therefore, she not use many digital devices, it does not mean she does not know anything about technology. She use the netbook to watch video on the internet after she finished the house work. The type of video that she loves such as drama, review any tool or cosmetics, and cooking video.
This is example of the video that she always watch.
After watching, she always try her new recipe that she knows from the video and want to everyone to comment her new menu. According to her activity, it can makes our relationship in our family more close than before because we have the topic to discuss everyday about her menu. This is become routine of us. :)
Let's talk about her phone, she does not use smartphone because she does not like to look at the screen all the time. The most important reason is she does not want to addict with smartphone like other people in the family. She use only the call function that make me happy because I will receive at least one call from her in one days.
Last thing that I want to share is mom , I love you the most.
